Our nation’s energy security is at great risk.  We are struggling with rising energy prices, tighter supplies and increased dependence on foreign imports, making it vital that the federal government allow for the thoughtful and appropriate use of our nation’s oil shale and tar sands resources.

Government estimates conclude that portions of Colorado, Utah and Wyoming contain at least 800 billion barrels of recoverable oil from oil shale – almost three times the volume of Saudi Arabia’s oil resources.  I strongly support responsible development of these resources as outlined by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) in its proposed regulations. America Seven Years After 9/11

Today mark the seventh anniversary of when I lost friends and co-works on a day that America and American’s never thought would happen here on our soil. I like many other Americans have set by and watched as our Country spiraled out of control and fall apart under the present leadership. I watched it become harder to get through the airport but, millions are still in this country illegally. I watched our housing market fall to an all time high, unemployment sky rocketed, many companies that have been here for a hundred years folded all the while our oil companies report billions of dollar in profits. 

We have stood by and watch many of our brave men and woman die for a lie, and billions of dollars wasted that could have been used here in our country. Now it is election time again and if it is one thing this country cannot afford is four more years with Republicans leading this country!! 

“It is time for a change” a change that can only happen with new leaders, strong leaders, leaders that don’t have the interest of corporate industry. We need leaders that have the interest of the American people, who fight for change on how we view the environment, health care and education. 

America is in desperate need of change and that change will come with Senator Obama and Senator Biden. Not with Senator McCain and Governor  Palin, which cannot even run for office without lies, how can we trust candidates that lie about simple things, like having a teenage daughter that’s expecting or having a infant with down syndrome if we have candidates that lie about the simple stuff? How can we trust them to tell the truth while leading this country?

Our present leader lied about the simple things, like his daughter having an alcohol problem, about his service in the military and the lies have continued. Vote for change! Vote for Senator Obama and Senator Biden! Vote for a new America! Vote for a New America an America that we all can be proud of!
